Hi, I am Jon Walker. I have had a camera in my hand since I was 5. I have spent much of my time trying to figure out how to take a decent photograph that captures how incredible this planet is. Adventure became a key part of my life out of high school. Rock climbing, mountain biking, and backpacking consumed much of my life as I pursued a degree in geology and late led to a business in adventure photography. My wife and I owned and operated a company called Hydro-Graphics for 9 years, shooting white water photos on the Kern River. Currently I spend most of my time teaching high school kids photography and geology...both of my passions....yep, I am pretty lucky! More importantly, my family is the center of my universe but when I get the chance I try to continue to figure out this photography thing.
